How to start your booking

At the beginning of the booking, please follow these steps:


  • Open the app and go to menu -> booking history and select the booking that has started
  • In the activation page, press 'Activate BBQ' button and scan the QR code to turn on the plate
  • Remember that you have 15 minutes at the beginning of every booked hour to activate your plate
  • Once the LED becomes steady green, the plate has reached the cooking temperature and you can start grilling!

How to clean the hotplate

At the end of the booking, please follow these steps:


  • Wait for the LED to start blinking red (it means that the hotplate is cooling down),
  • Remove any leftover food from the hotplate,
  • Pour some water on the hotplate and use the provided brush,
  • Use some paper towel to wipe down the hotplate, including the surrounding surfaces,
  • Take a picture of the clean hotplate when prompted by the App.

Getting ready for your booking

  • We suggest to arrive at the grill at least 15 minutes before the reservation starts.
  • Bring tools such as a grilling spatula, tongs and forks (avoid plastics that melt).
  • Bring some kitchen towel and water to clean the hotplate and bench top at the end of your session.

Time to grill!

  • You have 15 minutes from the start time of each booked hour to activate the plate. Please note the booking will be cancelled if the grill is not activated within the 15-min countdown and no refund will be issued
  • If the grill has an issue or is not in proper conditions, please report it during the activation phase to help@evergrill.co.uk
  • After scanning the QR code, please wait for the LED to become green and then you are ready to start grilling!

Be mindful of the next user

  • At the end of your booking, the app will show you the checklist to help you wrap up your reseravtion
  • Use the long arm scourer and water to wipe down the hotplate, if the scourer is missing you can use paper towel instead. Leave the countertop clean ready for the next user. Be aware that if the hotplate is left in unusable conditions, you may be charged a £20 cleaning fee 
  • Please don't forget to leave the feedback on your experience and take a picture of the hotplate
